Snowden students from Performing Arts classes, Dance and Theatre had the opportunity to attend a WGBH live Radio broadcast of Boston Public Radio at the Newsfeed Café at the Boston Public Library on Jan. 12th, 2024. The show featured a performance by the Ulysses String Quartet (1/12 audio transcript here) and then Jim Brauer interviewed Tony Beatrice, the head of the BPS Arts Dept. Tony took time to shout out the 20+ students from Snowden and Brauer asked us to raise hands which brought on a round of applause from the rest of the audience. As a bonus, students were treated by the CEO of GBH to snacks and drinks from the Cafe. It was a great experience for all of us!
